Is ostrich eggshell fragile? Not at all. Ostrich eggshell is one of nature’s strongest natural materials — far more durable than it appears. Each pendant is individually hand-cut and assembled with care, and with normal everyday wear it will last for many years.

Because each piece is individually handmade from natural ostrich eggshell, there will be gentle variations in colour, texture and pattern from piece to piece. These subtle differences are not imperfections — they are what make every piece truly one of a kind.

Your ostrich eggshell jewellery is surprisingly durable and requires very little maintenance.
Avoid spraying perfume or hairspray directly onto the piece. Keep it dry and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. Store in a dry place when not being worn. Wipe any suede cord gently with a soft, dry cloth if needed.
