Each vulture is individually hand-carved from sustainably sourced pine and carefully balanced by hand, so no two are ever exactly alike. Suspended from a simple wooden bar, it moves naturally with the breeze, creating gentle movement and changing silhouettes throughout the day.

Is it easy to assemble?
Yes. Your bird arrives with simple instructions and can be assembled in just a few minutes. Once suspended from a ceiling hook (not included), it is carefully balanced and ready to fly.
Does it have a motor or require batteries?
No. Each bird is entirely mechanical, with no motor, batteries or electricity required. It is individually balanced by hand and responds beautifully to the slightest movement of air, creating a calm, natural flight.
Is it heavy? Can I hang it from a ceiling hook?
Not at all. Although handcrafted from sustainably sourced pine, each bird is surprisingly lightweight. A standard ceiling cup hook is more than sufficient to support it safely.
Is it suitable for a nursery?
Yes, with adult installation. These birds create a calming focal point that children love to watch. They are designed as decorative heirloom pieces rather than toys, so they should always be installed securely and out of a child's reach.
Will my child outgrow it?

Is every bird exactly the same?

Yes, in sheltered outdoor areas such as covered patios, verandas or porches. We recommend protecting your bird from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heavy rain and strong winds to preserve its finish for many years.
Why is it more expensive than an ordinary mobile?
Each bird is individually hand-carved, hand-balanced and finished by a master craftsman rather than mass-produced in a factory. Designed as a lasting piece of functional art, it is made to be enjoyed for decades, making it very different from a conventional nursery mobile.
Care
Your wooden bird requires very little maintenance. Simply dust occasionally with a soft, dry cloth.
It is suitable for display both indoors and in sheltered outdoor areas, such as covered patios, verandas or porches.
